DSKT offers two school products. First is our fun, informative kayak-only sessions for a relaxed and interesting class activity. Second is our AC v9 curriculum-linked programs, combining kayak tours with educational activities in our onsite classroom
Transform Your Classroom into a Sanctuary
Dolphin Sanctuary Kayak Tours (DSKT) Education offers curriculum-alligned programs designed for learning through a unique combination of classroom-based theory and nature-based exploration. Located in the Adelaide Dolphin Sanctuary and the Ships’ Graveyard Maritime Heritage Trail, we provide students with a rare opportunity to explore one of Adelaide’s most significant marine ecosystems.
Option 1: Curriculum-Focused Experiential Programs (High School Year Levels)
Our curriculum-mapped programs combine interactive sessions in our on-site classroom at the Angas Inlet Boat Club with instructor-led kayaking expeditions.
Led by a Marine Biologist (Hons) with extensive experience in science communication and education, our programs are designed to move students beyond the classroom and into active fieldwork. Every program is alligned to the Australian Curriculum v9.0 content descriptors, general capabilities, and cross-curriculum priorities.

- Science & STEM: Dive into Linnaean classification, investigate "Newton in a Kayak," or map carbon sequestration in our "Beautiful Blue Carbon" module.

- Search for the local Indo-Pacific Bottlenose dolphins.
- Learn about the biodiversity and history of the Port River.
- Develop confidence, water safety skills, and peer-to-peer collaboration in a safe, fun environment.
