First Nations Cultural Education for Schools

Aboriginal Cultural Immersions is a key provider of the Australian Curriculum's focus on delivering Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Histories and Cultures in schools and colleges. The company's mission is to provide all students with a deeper understanding of these communities and their contributions. This initiative is designed to reflect the identities and cultures of First Nations Australians in education, with a view to promoting reconciliation and respect.

Integrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures into the classroom helps students build respect, cultural awareness, and a broader understanding of Australia’s heritage. It supports the Australian Curriculum’s priority of embedding First Nations perspectives across learning areas.

For Indigenous students, culturally inclusive education strengthens identity, belonging, and engagement. For all students, it encourages empathy, challenges stereotypes, and promotes critical thinking by exploring different ways of understanding history, land, and community.

Aboriginal Cultural Immersions provides authentic, curriculum-aligned workshops delivered by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander educators. Programs are interactive, age-appropriate, and tailored to your school’s needs.

We offer:

  • Cultural workshops (art on canvas or wall, storytelling, history, and traditions)
  • Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremonies
  • Yidaki (Didgeridoo) performances (Traditional and Contemprorary with beats)
  • Corroboree Dances performance and song in language.
  • Fun dance workshops
  • Yarning Circles
  • Assembly Concerts

Programs are delivered at your school and adapted to reflect local Indigenous communities.

Our goal is simple: to support teachers in creating culturally inclusive classrooms while giving students meaningful, respectful learning experiences.
